Welcome to Peacefully Adorned!

Where the breaking ends and the building begins.

Forged by pressure. Grounded in Peace. Purposely Built.

Dr. Katrina M. Campbell

Before the degrees, the certifications, the Fortune 500 stages, foster children, and the maximum security prison floors, Katrina was a little girl who needed someone to tell her that her story was not over. Now she spends her life telling others. Her work has been forged in the hardest, most pressure-tested human environments on earth, and her message has remained the same in every single one of them:

Shattered was the beginning. Adorned is the testimony. And it is available to every leader, every pressure-forged human being willing to open the ledger of life and do the honest, courageous, and irreversible work of becoming whole.

Holding a Doctorate of Management with a concentration in Homeland Security and a Master's degree in Christian Ministry, Katrina brings an extraordinary convergence of doctoral-level academic rigor, frontline operational authority, and deeply personal lived experience to every stage, every session, and every space she is called to occupy. Her practitioner certifications span crisis response, de-escalation, peaceful initiatives, behavioral detection, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, brain health, stress management, and integrative holistic wellness, and as one of a select few practitioners globally to hold advanced vibroacoustic therapy training from the VIBRAC, Skille-Lehkioinen Centre for Vibroacoustic Therapy and Research in Finland, she brings a somatic and neurological dimension to her work that no other speaker, coach, or ministry voice in this space currently offers. But the credential that matters most in every room Katrina enters is not the one on her wall. It is the one forged in her story.

She has been the high-achieving woman who was performing strength while quietly losing herself inside it. She has been the leader whose external success and internal reality were two entirely different people, and whose gap between them kept widening until she genuinely did not know which one was her real identity anymore. She has been the person in the room who knew all the frameworks, held all the certifications, and sat in a therapist's office, unable to find a single word for what she felt because the honest answer was that there was no word. There was only a sound. The sound of breaking glass. Sudden. Irreversible. The sound of something that could not be put back together the way it was.

And then, through the specific, costly, and ultimately redemptive work of honesty, stillness, and the courageous examination of everything, the pressure had always been building; she heard another sound. The low, deliberate, purposeful rumble of a forge. The rhythmic, intentional strike of something being shaped, not destroyed. The sound of pressure meeting purpose. The sound of becoming.

That is the sound of Peacefully Adorned. And it is what Katrina brings to every room she enters.

Katrina leads at the convergence of two different lanes of corporate and ministry. In the corporate and organizational world, she equips leaders and organizations to convert the invisible, compounding cost of high-stakes living into their greatest human advantage delivering the EQ advantages from the experts of behavioral science, crisis intelligence, emotional intelligence frameworks, and holistic wellness tools that move the most pressure-forged executives, operators, and team builders from the quiet erosion of leading without margin into the sustainable, grounded, and purposefully built performance that every high-stakes leader was always designed to produce.

In the ministry and faith world, she walks alongside the women and men whose faith tells them their story is not over but whose exhaustion, fracture, and quiet depletion has made that truth feel very far away creating the specific, dignified, and safe space where the most driven, the most faithful, and the most privately broken leaders finally experience what it means to be genuinely seen, genuinely known, and genuinely restored by someone who has walked every dimension of the journey they are on and refused to keep that testimony to herself.

In both worlds and in every room between them, she carries the same irreducible conviction:

You were not built despite the pressure you carried. It built you.

Dr. Richard H. Campbell

Richard does not talk about the cost of high-stakes living from a framework or a theory. He talks about it from thirty-eight years of running toward the hardest moments of other people's lives and from the specific, hard-won wisdom of a man who spent decades in fire service, emergency response, and public safety training before asking the question that changes everything:

What happens to the people who show up for everyone else — when no one shows up for them?

That question is the heartbeat of everything Richard brings to Peacefully Adorned.

A retired Fire Captain with more than thirty-eight years of frontline experience, Richard has served communities through some of their most devastating moments and has witnessed, from the inside of those moments, the specific and largely invisible cost that high-stakes service extracts from the men who carry it. Not just professionally. Not just physically. But in their marriages, their families, their interior lives, and the specific dimension of human suffering that the research calls moral injury and that the men who experience it almost never call anything at all because calling it something would require acknowledging it. And acknowledging it would require the specific vulnerability that high-stakes culture has spent decades training them to perform their way around. He knows what it feels like to recover from a moral injury that was brought about by harmful leadership.

Richard's life's work is the space between what that culture demands and what the men inside it actually need. And he has dedicated every credential, every research hour, and every hard conversation he has ever had the courage to initiate to closing that gap one leader, one marriage, one restored soul at a time. He holds an Education Doctorate in Community Care and Counseling from Liberty University. Richard is conducting a nationwide study examining the impact of secondary trauma on marriage satisfaction among first responders and their spouses. He feels this understanding is not just academically significant but personally urgent, because the men and marriages at the center of that research are the ones he has spent his entire career standing beside. He also holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science, along with professional certifications in safety leadership, holistic wellness, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and corporate safety management.

Richard refuses to separate the professional from the personal, the organizational from the relational, or the performance of strength from the interior life of the man giving the performance. Richard believes, with the conviction of someone who has seen what happens when that belief is ignored, that toxic leadership cultures are not just organizational problems. They are human ones. And that the organizations willing to build safer, healthier, and more genuinely supportive cultures are not just better places to work. They are places where the men inside them finally have permission to survive not just the emergency but everything the emergency leaves behind.

Richard focuses his work on four specific and deeply personal territories:

Safety — the physical, emotional, and organizational conditions that protect the people who protect everyone else, built from three decades of frontline experience and the specific understanding that safety is never just a protocol. It is a culture, a leadership posture, and a daily, deliberate act of genuine human care.

Moral Injury — the specific, invisible, and profoundly isolating wound that lives in men who have been asked by their profession to witness, participate in, or be unable to prevent things that violated their deepest values and who have been carrying that wound in silence because the culture they serve in has never once given them a safe place to put it down.

Leading Men — the specific, courageous, and deeply countercultural work of developing leaders who lead from genuine integrity, genuine presence, and the genuine human connection that every high-stakes team deserves from the person asking them to follow and that no amount of positional authority, tactical competence, or operational excellence has ever been able to replicate or replace.

Marriage in High-Stakes Professions — the specific relational intelligence, the practical tools, and the honest, research-backed conversation about what it actually costs a marriage to be built inside the pressure of high-stakes service and what it takes to not just survive that cost but to build something genuinely strong, genuinely intimate, and genuinely lasting from it.

Together, Richard and Katrina represent something the leadership development and wellness space almost never produces a husband and wife whose combined platform spans the boardroom and the firehouse, the ministry stage and foster parenting and adoption, the doctoral research and the lived testimony, the behavioral science and the Biblical conviction and whose shared life is the most honest evidence available that the message of Peacefully Adorned is not a framework they developed. It is a life they are living.

Beyond his professional life, Richard treasures the people and the moments that make the work worth doing. Time with Katrina. Family gatherings that go longer than planned and produce the best conversations. Fishing in the early morning before the world gets loud. Date nights that remind him why he chose her and why, in every season of pressure and forging and restoration, he would choose her again. And Elroy, his loyal dog, adopted through a fire station foster program, has never once asked Richard to perform anything other than showing up, which Richard will tell you is the most honest leadership lesson he has ever received from anyone in any room.

He also genuinely loves almost everything Katrina cooks. Almost everything. The African peanut butter soup, he will tell you with the kind of honesty that thirty-eight years of high-stakes service and a good marriage produces, is still a work in progress for his taste buds.

But he shows up for it anyway.

Because that is what Richard does. He believes that in every room where a pressure-forged man is finally ready to put down what he has been carrying and discover that the most courageous thing he will ever do is not run into the fire. It is to show up with honesty without performance.

Walking out of it whole.

Richard's speaking engagements are limited at this time, but he has some availability for coaching.

Vibroacoustic Session

WOW! What a great experience on the liquid sound table. I have not been able to lie on my back without pain in my lower back and shoulders for years.

I am 72 years old and was totally amazed by my 30-minute session. I had zero pain when I got off the table, and the feeling lasted for several days. AWESOME!!!

I highly recommend Peacefully Adorned for anyone with back pain. I will be going back.

Katrina has always been a person of light and kindness. Her heart shines through everything she touches. When my husband and I were going through infertility I felt so discouraged and wanted to give up. Out of the blue,, Katrina reached out to me and offered a listening ear. Not only did I leave the meet up feeling encouraged, but I felt like new living, healing water had been poured into me through her. Later on, I found out that she had added me to her prayer list. I have no doubt that our paths crossed years ago for that very moment years later. My husband and I are now expecting a little girl due in a few short weeks. We are forever grateful to her; without that meeting, I wouldn’t have had the courage to keep believing and trusting in the God who has given us this tiny miracle.
